Grapel Deal More Dangerous Than Shalit
Which is worse--the Gilad Shalit deal which freed over 1,000 terrorists from Israeli jails, terrorists who are, predictably, claiming to kidnap more soldiers--or the Ilan Grapel Deal? Grapel, who holds US/Israeli dual citizenship was also kidnapped and freed as part of a deal (Israel releasing 25-28 prisoners in exchange for Grapel, who was being held hostage in Egypt)?

Both are horrendous deals that will inevitably led to violence and murder of Jews (G-d forbid). What makes the Grapel story particularly disturbing is that there are unconfirmed reports that the US was/is/planning to sell F-16s to Egypt to help secure Grapel's freedom. There are contradictory reports but if true it poses an extremely dangerous situation. The US, under the Obama regime, could potentially get away with aiding one of Israel's enemies with a wink wink, we're helping to free an American.

Ditto if the Israel has dual citizenship in just about any other anti-Israel country.

Say a Jew is branded a subversive or essentially harassed to the point where making aliyah is the only option (please don't pounce on me for that, I am all in favor of aliyah).

What is to prevent a dictatorial regime from tipping off Hamas, Hezbollah or any other Israel hating country into kidnapping an innocent Israel with dual citizenship, and then offer an incentive "military weapons" to secure his freedom??? Meanwhile, the Israeli government offers its own incentive--release of prisoners to use the military weapons!
